Design:
The sidewall markings of the Pilot Sport 4 tyres are designed using the premium touch effect. This innovation from Michelin produces a velvet-like appearance, which brings out the letters and graphics. All sizes of the Pilot Sport 4 have a wheel rim protector which protects the sidewall and wheel from kerbing damage.
Safety & Handling in the Wet:
An innovative mix of hybrid and functional elastomers provide excellent wet and dry grip, even at high speeds.
- A new mix of compound with specific “Functional Elastomers” and Silica provides excellent wet grip and braking.
- MICHELIN Pilot Sport 4 tyre’s wide and deep longitudinal grooves ensure a high level of drainage on wet roads.

Dry safety: FIA Formula E based tread design and tread compounds ensures superior grip in dry conditions on straight highways as well as cornering/winding roads, leading to dry handling and braking.
Wet safety: In addition to the tread compounding effect, wide and deep longitudinal grooves provide efficient drainage on wet roads, leading to superior wet safety.
Responsive, precision controlled driving:
The new dynamic response technology in the Pilot Sport4 tyres consist of a belt with hybrid aramid and nylon reinforcement that ensures optimal directional control. With its density, tension-resistant and lightweight fibre, centrifugal force at high speeds is effortlessly controlled and the tyre contact patch remains constant, even at high speed.
